Step 10 to 2 Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 10:  At this point we need to rotate the two end loops 90 degrees.  We do this by grasping one side of the top wire component in your nylon jaw pliers and while holding this side in place, you use your bent chain nose pliers to grasp the end loop and twist 90 degrees.  Step 11 to 2 Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making Project

Peg Pattern for 2 Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making Project Step 11:  To complete the top wire component, you will need to bend the two end loops down as shown at left.  This is done by grasping the loop with your bent chain nose pliers and bending it.

Step 12:  Now we start making the bottom wire component which is easier to make than the top wire component.  Using one of the 3" segments of wire, position pegs6 and 7 in your jig.  Place the initial loop on peg 6 and wrap the wire around peg 7 so that with no pressure applied it rests against the empty hole for peg 8.

2 Stone Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 13:  Add peg 8 to your jig and wrap the wire around peg 8 until with no pressure applied, the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 9.

Step 14:  Add peg 9 to your jig and wrap the wire around peg 9 until with no pressure applied, the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 10.

Step 15:  Now wrap the wire around peg 10.Step 16 to 2 Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making Project

Step 16:  Remove the wire from you jig and cut the excess wire.  Close the final loop using your bent chain nose pliers.  The bottom wire component should now appear as shown at right.

Step 17 to 2 Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 17:  At this point we are ready to connect the top wire component to the bottom wire component.  This is done by opening one end loop on one side of the top wire component with your bent chain nose pliers and connecting it to the end loop on the bottom wire component then closing that loop.  On the opposite side, you will need to open the end loops on both the top wire component and the bottom wire component, then connect the two components and then closing both loops using your bent chain nose pliers.
