Step 19:  With our completed hook-end wire component, we need to add two strands of .019 Soft Flex to either loop in the hook-end component.  First we cut two segments of Soft Flex, each about 9" long.  Then we thread a 2x2mm crimp bead onto one end of the Soft Flex, about 1" from the end.  After that you need to thread the 1" portion of Soft Flex through one of the loops in the hook-end component and finally, back through the 2x2mm crimp bead.  Position the crimp bead so that it is close to the hook-end wire component and using your bead crimping pliers (regular size) crimp the crimp bead closed.  You can find instructions for using the bead crimping pliers here.  Perform these same steps for the other loop in the hook-end connector so that you have two strands of Soft Flex ready to receive beads.  Step 20 to 2 Strand Jewelry Wire & Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making Project

Step 20:  The pattern of beads for this bracelet is as follows.  First two 6mm crystal pearl beads, then a 6mm crystal bead followed by two crystal pearl beads.  After adding this combination of beads to both strands then you add one of your spacer bars to both strands.  Repeat this pattern five times.  To finish the bracelet you will need to add your catch-end wire component.  Use a plastic hemostat or bead stopper to both strands of wire so that your beads don't slide off your Soft Flex while you are making the catch-end component.  Step 21 to 2 Strand Jewelry Wire & Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making Project

Step 21:  Making the catch-end wire component is almost identical to making the hook-end component.  The peg pattern for making the catch-end component is shown at right.  Begin by cutting a 2 3/4" segment of 20 gauge wire.  Make a 1/2 loop in one end of the wire.  Grasp that loop and hold it while straightening the wire by pulling it through the jaws of your nylon jaw pliers repeatedly.  Place the 1/2 loop on peg 1 as shown at right and position pegs 2, 3 and 4, with peg 3 being a 3/16" Super Peg for your jig.  All the steps for making the catch-end connector are the same as the steps for the hook-end connector.  We will show these steps on the next page.
