Step 16: Add peg 10 to your jig and wrap the wire around peg 10 as shown at left.
Step 18: Using your flush cutter, cut the excess wire at the
point where it starts to overlap. After cutting the wire, use your
bent chain nose pliers to close the final loop in the top wire
component. See what your wire should look
Step 19: Using your round nose pliers convert both "P" loops
at the bottom of the wire component to eye loops.

converting a "P" loop to an eye loop can be found here.
Step 20: The final step in making the top wire component is to grasp each of the eye loops that you made in step 19, one at a time and rotate them 90 degrees. Rotate one 90 degrees clockwise and the other 90 degrees counter-clockwise so that the openings on both loops are on the same side of the top wire component. When completed your top wire component should appear as shown at left. |
