![]() This is the two strand bracelet, made using twenty-eight 8mm pearl beads and about the same number of size 6 seed beads. The wire used to make this bracelet is 18 gauge wire, preferable 1/2 hard. The beads are strung on size .019 Soft Flex or Soft Touch bead stringing wire. A commercial clasp is used to finish the bracelet. Four wire components are used in this bracelet. There are two two-loop end components, two 2-1 components, 3 two hole spacers and 2-3 chain segments. You can view all four components in the bracelet below.
Step 1: Using your flush cutter, cut two wire segments in each of the following lengths -- 2 1/8", 1 3/8", and 2 1/2". Cut three wire segments 1 1/4" long. Step 2: Make a loop in the end of the cut wire segment with the flush cut. This loop needs to be the size of the peg in your jig. If you have a Fine Step Jaw Pliers, this will make it easier to make all the loops the same size. Step 3: Using your nylon jaw pliers, straighten all the wire segments.
