Step
19: Add a crimp bead to each strand of bead stringing wire and
thread the wire through the appropriate end loop on one of the end wire
components, then back through the crimp bead. Pull the bead
stringing wire
Step 20: At this point we need to take the 2 1/2" segments of wire and make the chain components. Position peg 8 and 9 in your jig. Peg 9 is a 3/16" Super Peg. Place the initial loop in your wire on peg 8 and wrap the wire around peg 9. Step 21: Add peg 10 (3/16" Super Peg) to your pattern and wrap
the wire around peg 10 as shown. Remove the wire from your jig and
make
Step 22: Connect one of the chain components to the end loop on
one of your 2-1
Step 23: Using your bent chain nose pliers, grasp one of the
loops in the chain component and bend the end of the wire 180 degrees to
wrap that loop closed. Cut the excess wire and squeeze the end of
the wire flat with your chain nose pliers
Step 24: Add a second link to the chain using the same approach.
For some people, you may need to add a third link to this chain.
Step 25: Add your commercial clasp to the opposite end of the bracelet. This is done by using a jump ring to connect the clasp to the end loop in the 2-1 connector. Open the jump ring using your bent chain nose pliers, make the connection, then close the jump ring. |
