Step 11A: (For the pattern shown at right) Using three head
pins, attach three 6mm beads to the loops formed on pegs 1, 2 and 4 as
shown at right.
Step 12A: Open the loop in your ear wire finding and connect this loop to the top loop in your Figure 8 Dangle wire component, then close the loop in your ear wire finding. Step 13A: Using 2 inches of 22 gauge wire, wrap this wire around
the point in the figure 3 where the wire crosses. Wrap about 3 times
and cut the excess wire. Squeeze the ends of the cut wire flat using
your bent chain nose pliers. (Step 13A is optional.) This
completes the earring design shown at right. |

Step 11B: (For the pattern at right) Using three head pins
attach three bead dangles to the loops made on pegs 1, 3, and 4. The
bead dangles should include a 6mm bead and a 2x4mm bugle bead.
Step 12B: Using either 20 or 22 gauge wire, make a modified Figure 8 Connector as described here. Open one end of this modified Figure 8 Connector and connect it to the top of your Figure 8 Dangle wire component as shown at right. Then close the modified Figure 8 Connector. Step 13B: Open the top loop in the modified Figure 8 Connector and connect it to the loop in your ear wire finding. Close that loop. This completes the earring design shown at right. |
