Skin oil and the film from soap can dull the shine of your CZ. They won't damage the stones, the film will just reduce the shine and sparkle of the stones. The bottom line in caring for your CZs is to keep them clean and free from any oily films. Clean your CZ with a cleaner that will dry without leaving a film. Soaps or detergents can be used to clean your CZ, but be sure to wipe the stone dry to remove any soap film.
