| The one slightly tricky part in completing these earrings
is that the three loop V shaped wire component is connected to the rest of
the earrings by wrapped bead links connected between the outside loops on
the three loop V shaped wire component to the loops in the middle of each
side of the five loop V shaped wire component. These wrapped bead
links are each made with about 2 1/2 inches of 22 or 24 gauge wire, and a
six mm bead centered between two 2x4mm bugle beads. This connection
is made, one side at a time, after the bead dangle is completed to the
center loop in the five loop wire component.
Once the above step is completed the earrings are finished by adding the bead dangles to the outside two loops on the five loop V shaped wire component and the the three loops on the three loop V shaped wire component. After completing all the bead dangles, add your ear wire and admire. You are done. |

| These earrings are rather long and could be too long for many people. The design can be easily shortened several ways. First, instead of using the Long Yoke design, you can shorten the earrings by about 1/4 inch by using the Short Yoke design from page 11. Second, these earrings can be shortened by changing the ear wire from the ear clip shown above right to a post style ear wire. This will shorten the earrings by about 1/2 inch. Finally, the earrings can be shortened by about 1/3 inch by reducing the number of 2x4mm bugle beads used. If each bead dangle has only a 6mm bead instead of a 6mm bead and a bugle bead, this will shorten the earrings. You will need to retain one bugle bead below the 6mm bead on the two wrapped bead links that connect the two V shaped wire components. This is necessary to ensure that there is adequate space for the bead dangles to hang from the five loop V shaped wire component. |
