| Alternative Designs Continued: The design for these earrings is very
similar to the earrings on Page 15, only this design uses a new component
similar to the five loop V shaped component. To make this component,
you need 3 1/2 inches of wire and the seven metal pegs shown in the center
below, right. Make the first four loops, starting with two pegs and
adding the third and fourth pegs as you go. Once you have completed
the center loop, remove the wire component from the jig and add the
remainder of the metal pegs. Now replace the wire on the jig in the
mirror image position (flipped over). Remove the first two pegs and
wrap the wire around the third peg. Add the second peg and wrap the
wire around it. Add the third peg and wrap the wire around it.
Remove the wire from the jig and cut the excess wire. Close the
final loop and you are ready to go. |

| Making these earrings is similar to the making the prior earrings only
no bugle beads are used for spacing. 8 head pins are required for
each earring along with ten 6mm beads and 8 inches of 22 or 24 gauge wire.
Wrapped loops using the 22 or 24 gauge wire are required to connect the
outside loop on the top five loop V shaped wire component to the top,
outside loops on the seven loop V shaped wire component. These
wrapped loops are connected to the seven loop V shaped wire component by
opening the beginning and ending loops on this component using your bent
chain nose pliers. Close these loops after the wrapped loop is
connected in the proper orientation.
