Beaded Curtain Jewelry Making Project Peg Pattern on WigJig Cyclops.Step 8:  Now we are ready to begin making the "Top Wire Component".  Position pegs 6 and 7 in your jig.  Place the initial loop from the 2 7/8" wire segment on peg 6 and push the wire against peg 7 so that when you are done, the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 8.

Step 9:  Add peg 8 to your pattern and wrap the wire partially around peg 8 so that it rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 9 with no pressure applied.

Step 10:  Add peg 9 and push the wire against peg 9 so that it ends up adjacent to the hole for peg 10.

Top Wire Component for Beaded Curtain Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 11:  Add peg 10 and wrap the wire completely around peg 10 as shown.  Remove the wire from the jig and it should appear as shown Both Wire Components for Beaded Curtain Earrings Jewelry Making Projectat left.

Step 12:  Cut the excess wire from both wire components.  Using your bent chain nose pliers, close the final loop on both components.  At this point, the two wire components should appear as shown at right.

Step 13:  At this point we need to reshape the loops on the top wire Step 13 to Beaded Curtain Earrings Jewelry Making Projectcomponent so that we will be able to connect the top wire component to the "V" shaped wire component.  The first step in this reshaping is to convert both the initial loop and the final loop in the top wire component into eye loops.  This is done by grasping the wire at the base of the loop with the tips of your round nose pliers and twisting so that the "P" loop becomes an eye loop, centered on the wire stem.  Step 14 for Beaded Curtain Earring Jewelry Making ProjectYou can view this jewelry making technique here.

Step 14:  When you have converted the "P" loops to eye loops, you will need to grasp each eye loop in turn with your bent chain nose pliers and rotate the loop 90 degrees.  When completed the top wire component should appear as shown at right.
