Earring Body for Beaded Curtain Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 15:  Now we need to connect these two wire components to form the earring body.  This is accomplished by using your bent chain nose pliers to first open the loop on one end of the top wire component and connecting this loop to the end loop on one side of the "V" shaped wire component, then closing that loop.  This connects one side of these two wire components.  To connect the opposite side, open both the end loop on the top wire component and the end loop on the "V" shaped wire component.  With both loops open, manipulate the wire so that both loops are connected, then close both loops.

Adding the Chain to the Beaded Curtain Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 16:  With the earring body completed, we need to add five segments of commercial chain.  Cut five pieces of chain, each about 1 inch long.  Using a small jump ring or a figure 8 connector, connect the chain to one of the bottom loops in the "V" shaped wire component.  For beginners, it is suggested that you make figure 8 connectors to conBeaded Curtain Jewelry Making Project made with Swarovski Erinite Beadsnect the chain to the loop in the earring body. For those who are more advanced you can use a small jump ring to connect the chain to the loop (this is more difficult than using the figure 8 connector because of the small size.)  Making the connection is accomplished by opening the loop, connecting the chain to the loop and closing the loop.  Add a segment of chain to all five loops.

Step 17:  Now we need to add a bead dangle to the bottom loop in each segment of chain.  Begin by threading one 6mm bead onto each of five head pins.  Using the jewelry making technique discussed here, connect one head pin and bead to the bottom of each segment of chain.
