Step 24: Now we start the assembly. Begin making one side of
the bracelet with the central duplex component and one of the side
components. Position these two components so that they are oriented
identically with the beginning and ending loops being vertical. See
the picture at right. We now need to connect loop 1 in the right
duplex wire component with loop 3 in the left wire component. To do
this we make wrapped bead link segment A using 22 gauge wire to connect
between a 1/2 inch segment of commercial chain (5) and loop 1. We
use wrapped bead link segment C to connect between the other end of the
commercial chain and loop 3 on the second duplex wire component. The
beads used for segments A and C are 6mm beads.
Step 25: At this point, repeat the above process for the bracelet segment between loop 2 and loop 4. Step 26: Now we add the middle wire component (7) between the two segments of chain (5 & 6). This is done by opening both loops in the middle wire component and connecting them to the middle link in each segment of chain, then closing both loops. This step is optional. It can be omitted. Step 27: Repeat steps 24, 25 and 26 on the other side of the central duplex wire component. |
