As
discussed earlier, the earring pattern shown in pages 9 through 11 make an
earring that has a diamond shape. The earrings shown at right
use
the same two wire component technique but have the tear drop shape.
This shape is achieved by moving pegs 2 and 5 shown on
page 9 up one hole. This pattern can be viewed at left.
The earrings shown at right use bead dangles at the bottom made of two 4mm beads and one crystal silver lined 2x4mm bugle bead. The beads used in these earrings are Swarovski Aqua AB beads and for this reason they reflect a lot of light. These earrings also did not use the fine gauge wire wrapped around the point in the top wire component where both wire segments cross.
