Step 7: One at a time, grasp the bottom loops of the top wire
component with your bent chain nose pliers and rotate them 90 degrees.
When completed the wire component should appear as shown at right.

Step 8: Now we need to connect the top and bottom wire components.
This is done by first opening the loop
on one side of the top wire component and inserting the loop on one side
of the bottom wire component. Complete the connection of this side
by closing the loop in the top wire component that was opened. Step 9: To connect the opposite side we need to open both the loop in the top wire component and the loop in the bottom wire component. With both loops open, connect the two wire components and then close both loops. When completed the earring body made up of two wire components will appear as shown at right. |
