The birthstone for June is the pearl.  Pearls are formed when marine mollusks like clams and oysters rub irritating items against their shells until the irritants are covered by the shell's lining material.  Pearls are softer than all the gemstones and for this reason are not suitable for everyday wear in bracelets and rings.  Please select the picture above-right to view more information on pearls. 

We have three earring jewelry making kits for June.  All three kits use white, 1/2 drilled pearl beads made by Swarovski, the company famous for Austrian glass crystal.  These are man-made pearl beads, but they look and wear exactly like the highest quality cultured pearls.  These kits all require that you purchase glue separately.  The glue that we recommend is item 0359, GS Hypo Tube Cement.  A nail file, or jeweler's file is recommended for assembling these earrings.  You can view these kits below:

PLEASE NOTE:  We believe that these jewelry making kits are fantastic values.  Customers should not consider that because the prices are so reasonable for these kits that the products are cheap.  You would be wrong.  We purchase top quality gemstones, man-made gemstones, tools, wire and findings to include in these kits directly from the factory.  Our prices are low because we purchase directly from the source and there are no middlemen, no distributors, and no stores with high overhead that need to be paid.  We could easily charge three times as much for these kits and they would still be a great value.  We are going to sell these kits at a fair price and hope that word of mouth advertising will let people know about what a great value they are.  If that doesn't work, our next approach will be to increase the prices commensurate with the value.
