Step 1: Cut and a 3" segment of 20 gauge wire. Half-hard wire is preferred. Step 2: Make a loop in one end of the wire using your round nose pliers or your step jaw pliers. The loop needs to be large enough to fit over a regular metal peg for the jig you will use. Step 3:
Straighten this segment of wire by holding the loop in the wire with one
hand and pulling the wire repeated through the jaws of your nylon jaw
Step 4: Position a regular metal peg, peg 1, and a 3/8" Super Peg, peg 2, in your jig as shown. Place the loop in your wire on peg 1 and bend the wire against peg 2 until with no pressure applied the wire will rest adjacent to peg 3 (when it is inserted.) Step 5: Add peg 3, the 3/16" Super Peg, as shown above and wrap the wire tightly around peg 3. Continue to push the wire until it is near peg 2. Once you are close, remove peg 2 so that you can push the wire slightly beyond peg 2. Your goal is to push the wire so that with no pressure applied it will rest adjacent to peg 2 once it is re-inserted. Step 6: Replace peg 2 in your jig and bend the wire against peg 2
