Inverted V Jewelry Making Project with Pink Lampwork Beads

There are a couple of alternative designs that can be considered.  One alternative is to add a small 3-4mm bead to the wire after completing step 6 in these instructions.  You can view this ear wire with a 3mm round gold-filled bead at right.  Another alternative would be to make a wrapped loop at the end of the ear wire instead of an open loop.  This gives the coil effect that is common in many commercial ear wires.  Making this wrap would be accomplished in step 9 instead of cutting the excess wire.  To complete the wrap without distorting the loop in the wire you would hold the loop in bent chain nose pliers while you wrap the wire around itself.

We hope you like our Inverted "V" Ear Wires.  They may be a more interesting alternative than plain French style ear wires and may stay in place better.  They are somewhat unique so they will add a measure of novelty to your designs.
