Beads Added to the Large Jewelry Wire Loops Necklace Jewelry Making ProjectOne other alternative configuration to discuss is to add beads to the necklace.  You can view how we recommend that you do this at right.  We recommend using 24 gauge round wire or 21 gauge 1/2 round wire to wrap a segment of wire to either side of the Large Loops link with the beads.  If you have 1/2 round wire that will work better.  If you don't 24 gauge round wire will work.    You can find our free instructions for adding the beads to a loop of wire starting with step 13 here.

Making a Large Loops Bracelet with Beads:

Large Jewelry Wire Links Bracelet with Beads Jewelry Making ProjectThe following paragraphs provide our free instructions on how to make the Large Jewelry Wire Loops Bracelet with Beads shown at left.  This bracelet is made with links in three different sizes for the simple reason that the large links used for the necklace won't easily follow the curve of the wearer's wrist.  In essence, we have one large link, four medium links and two smaller links in this bracelet.

Large Jewelry Wire Links Bracelet with Beads Jewelry Making Project Peg PatternStep 1:  Cut one segment of 18 gauge soft jewelry wire 5" long, four segments 3 3/4" long, and two segments 3" long.

Step 2:  Using your fine step jaw pliers our your round nose pliers, make a 1/2 loop in each segment of wire.

Step 3:  Grasp the 1/2 loop in each segment of wire in turn and straighten the wire by pulling it repeatedly through the jaws of your nylon jaw pliers.

Step 4:  Position your pegs in your jig as shown above-right.  Pegs 1, 2, and 3 make the single large link in the center of the bracelet.  Pegs 2 and 3 are 1/2" Super Pegs.  Pegs 4, 5 and 6 make the four medium sized links for the bracelet.  Pegs 5 and 6 are 5/16" Super Pegs.  Pegs 7, 8 and 9 make the two smallest links.  Pegs 8 and 9 are 1/4" Super Pegs.

Step 5:  Wrap your wire around the pegs as shown at right.  Make one large link, four medium links and two small links.
