Step 2: Using your fine step jaw pliers, make a loop in the end of the wire with the flush cut. Step 3: Hold the loop in the end of the wire and straighten the wire segment by pulling it repeatedly through the jaws of your nylon jaw pliers. Step 4: Open this web page and print the page. This is a template for this design. If you are working from your computer keep this template open to view the peg numbers used in our description. Step 5: First we will make the bottom wire component. Place pegs 1 and 2 in your jig as shown below-left. Place the loop in your wire segment on peg wi and wrap the wire around peg 2 until the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 3 with no pressure applied. Step 6: The process we will use for making this bottom wire component is to flip the piece over after each loop. We do this so that the finished piece will be two layers of wire instead of growing in height from one side of the component to the other. To flip this piece over, first remove the wire from your jig. Then you remove pegs 1 and 2 and then add pegs 3, 4, and 5. Place your initial loop on peg 5 and the second loop on peg 4, then wrap your wire around peg 3, until the wire is adjacent to the empty hole for peg 2 as shown below-center. Step 7: Remove the wire component from your jig. Continue by removing peg 5 and adding pegs 1 and 2. Wrap the wire around peg 4 and continue pushing the wire until the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 5 with no pressure applied. See the picture below-right.
