Step 21 to Mod Classic Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 21:  Now we need to make a medium sized jump ring to connect between the tops of the two spacer bars and the ear wire finding.  In the picture at right you can see how the spacer bars connect between the earring body that we made earlier and the jump ring finding at the top.  Use about 1 1/2 inches of 20 gauge wire to make your open jump ring.  You can view our free jewelry making instructions for making a jump ring here.  Use the middle step in your step jaw pliers to get a medium jump ring.  You will need to make two jump rings, one for each earring.  You can purchase jump rings if you prefer.

Step 22:    Using your bent chain nose pliers, connect a spacer bar to either of the top, outside loops in your earring body as shown at right.  This connection is made by opening the eye loop on the end of the spacer bar, connecting it to the earring body, then closing the loop in the spacer bar.

Step 25 to Mod Classic Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 23:  Again using your bent chain nose pliers, connect the two spacer bars to the jump ring that you made in step 21.

Step 24:  Now connect the jump ring to your ear wire finding.  You can purchase ear wire findings, or you can make your own like the ones shown here.  Please select here to view our jewelry making instructions for making shepherd's hook style ear wire findings.  Please select here to view ear wire findings in our Internet store.

Step 25:  The final step is to add your bead dangles to the five loops at the bottom of the earring body.  Use head pins to connect each of the beads.  Our free jewelry making instructions for making a bead dangle can be found here.

The finished earrings will appear as shown at left.

On the next page we will show some alternative designs.
