Step 7: Now bend the wire back against peg 1 as shown at
right. You won't be able to complete the loop on peg 1 since peg 4
is in the way, so just bending the wire 180
Step 8: Remove the wire from your jig and it should appear as shown at left. If it doesn't appear as shown, that means that you may not have pushed the wire far enough in one of the earlier steps. You can put the wire back on the jig and use your fingers to convince it to assume the shape shown at left.
Step 10: Using your flush cutter, cut the excess wire, remembering to position the flush cutter with the flat side of the cutter toward the finished wire component. After cutting the excess wire, use your bent chain nose pliers to close the final loop. Instructions for closing the loop can be found here.
