Step 2: Make a loop in one end of each of the 7 wire segments using your fine step jaw pliers or your round nose pliers. The loop needs to be the size of the regular metal peg in your jig. Step 3: Grasp the loop at the end of a wire segment and straighten the wire using your nylon jaw pliers. Do this for all seven segments of wire.
Step
5: Using one of the 3 1/2" long segments of wire, place the loop
on the wire made in step 2 onto peg 1 in your pattern and bend the wire
against peg 2 as shown at left. Push the wire until it will stay in
the position shown with no pressure applied.
Step 6: Keeping the wire tightly against the 1/2" Super Peg,
bend the wire around peg 3 as shown at right. Try to wrap the wire
as tightly around peg 3 as possible.
Step 7: Now wrap the wire the rest of the way around peg 2, the 1/2" Super Peg. Continue pushing the wire until the wire will rest in the position shown at left with no pressure applied. These instructions continue on the next page. |
