Step 14 to Oval Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making DesignStep 14:  Push the wire all the way through the loops made on peg 1 and bend the wire 180 degrees as shown at left.  Make this bend as tightly as possible.  Use your fingers to make this bend.

Step 15 to Oval Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making DesignStep 15:  Now wrap the wire around itself about two times, then cut the excess wire.  Using your bent chain nose pliers squeeze and twist the cut end of the wire until it doesn't stick up.  Your first Step 16 to Oval Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making Designoval link should now appear as shown at right.

Step 16:  Make three of the larger links using the 1/2" Super Peg and using your 3 1/2" segments of wire and then make four smaller links using pegs 4, 5, and 6 and your 2 1/2" segments of wire.  When making the smaller links, you will not need to add the seed beads when adding your beads, just add the 6mm bead.  Complete all seven oval links.

Step 17 to Oval Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making DesignStep 17:  Now we are ready to begin assemblying the bracelet.  Start with the middle of the three larger oval links and build your bracelet by adding links to either side, from this the center link.  Make figure 8 connectors to connect the links one to another.  For these figure 8 connectors, you will need to make larger loops on both sides of the figure 8 connector than normal.  We began making our figure 8 connectors by making a 3/32" loop, using the middle step in our fine step jaw pliers.  Then we used our round nose pliers and tried to make a loop the same size as the first loop in our figure 8 connector.  Our free instructions for making figure 8 connectors can be found here.  If you made your oval links on our WigJig Olympus or Olympus Lite, you can make twelve  figure 8 connectors and use two connectors between each oval link.  If you made your oval links on our WigJig Centaur or Delphi then make only six figure 8 connectors.  Connect all 7 oval links together as shown above-right.

Step 18 to Oval Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making DesignStep 18:  With all 7 links connected, you are ready to add your clasp.  Because we used a magnetic clasp, we need to add a 3" gaurd chain.  When connecting our clasps to the end links on either side, we made a wrapped link on the end link, and in this wrapped link we added one end of the chain before we wrapped the loop closed.  Then we made a second wrapped loop and connected one side of our magnetic clasp to that wrapped loop before we wrapped that loop closed.  When you are completed your clasp should appear as shown above-right.

In the following web page, we show how to make matching earrings to your bracelet.
