![]() Step 22: Make a second connector wire component using the same steps that you used to make the first one. Step 23: Now we have one large round wire component, a small round wire component and two connector components and we are ready to be assembling the earring. Start by opening the loop on one end of your connector wire component using your bent chain nose pliers. Opening a loop is done as shown here. Connect this open loop to one of the loops at the 4 o'clock position on your large wire component and connect the second wire connector to the loop at the 8 o'clock position. When these connector components are in position, close the loops again using your bent chain nose pliers. Step 24: Connect the opposite end of the two connector wire components to the loops on the small round wire component at the 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions. Again, use your bent chain nose pliers to open and close the loops in the connector wire component. Step 25: Now we need to add the ear wire to the top of the earring. For the earring shown here, we made an ear wire with a larger loop at the bottom so that it would go around the larger beginning/final loops in the large round wire component. You can also make a modified figure 8 connector to connect the beginning/final loops in the large round wire component to a commercial ear wire finding. Instructions for making a modified figure 8 connector can be found here. Connect your ear wire finding to your earring body by opening the loop in the earring finding, connecting to the earring body and closing the loop. (Some people may find it easier to position the large round wire component upside down in the earring body. This will place the overlapping beginning/final loops at the bottom and won't interfer with connecting your ear wire finding.) Step 26: Once you have the ear wire connected you are ready to add your bead dangles. The technique for making a bead dangle is described here. You can choose to use an open loop bead dangle or a wrapped loop. Add a bead dangle to the bottom loop in the large round wire component first as this may be the most difficult one to accomplish. Then add bead dangles to the two side loops in the large round wire component. Add bead dangles to the three bottom loops in the small round wire component. Finally, you can add a bead dangle to the middle of the large round wire component. (For adding a bead dangle to the loop in the middle of the large round wire component we strongly suggest using the open loop approach and not the wrapped loop.) Make two earrings using the same approach.
