![]() Step 9: Using a segment of 16 soft gauge wire 6 1/2" long and your 1.5" Larger Round Super Peg, make the 1.5" diameter circle of wire following steps 1 through 8 again.
Step 10: Using a segment of 16 gauge soft wire 5 1/2" long and your
1" Larger Round Super Peg, make the 1" diameter circle of wire following
steps 1
Step 11: Now cut three segments of 24 or 26 gauge wire each being 5" long. We will use this wire to wrap the circular wire components permanently closed.
Step 12: Select one of your circles of 16 gauge wire and wrap the 24
or 26 (fine) gauge wire around it 2 1/2 times as shown at left.
Step 13: Position both loops in your circular wire component on the
jaws of
Step 14: Now wrap the long end of your fine gauge wire around the
two loops in the circular wire component. Complete 1 1/2 circles of
wire. You will want the initial wrap of fine gauge wire to be on one
side of the two loops in the circle and after 1 1/2 wraps around both
loops your wire will end up on the opposite side of the two
Step 15: Now remove the circular wire component from your pliers.
You are ready to start wrapping the fine gauge wire on the opposite side
of the two
Step 16: Wrap the fine gauge wire around this side of the circular
wire component about 4-5 times. You will need more wraps on this
side because we will need to
Step 17: Now cut the short segment of excess fine gauge wire at the beginning of your first wrap. Use your bent chain nose pliers to squeeze the cut end of wire flat against the circular wire component. |
