Step
15: Depending on the design you intend to make, you might need to
wrap both loops closed. Grasp the loops in turn using your bent
chain nose pliers and hold the loops while you push the wire around itself
to complete the wrap. Cut the excess wire and squeeze the cut end of
the wire flat with your bent chain nose pliers. If you are making a
chain of spirals like the one shown below, connect the loops to the prior
spiral before wrapping the loops closed.
Step 17: Add your ear wire finding to the top of the earring. This is accomplished by opening the loop in the ear wire finding with your bent chain nose pliers then connecting the loops and finally closing the loop in your ear wire finding again with your bent chain nose pliers. The technique for opening and closing loops is described here. This completes your earring. Make a second earring using the same technique.
