Step 12 to Square Chandelier Earring w. Chain -- Jewelry Making ProjectStep 12:  Remove the "V" shaped wire component from your jig.  Using your flush cutter, cut the excess wire with the flat side of your flush cutter toward the finished piece.  After cutting the excess wire, use your bent chain nose pliers to close the final loop in the wire component.  The completed "V" shaped wire component should appear as shown at right.

Step 13:  Now we are ready to make the second wire component for these earrings.  See the close-up picture of the earring body below-left.  The first spacer bar that we will make will be used to connect the "V" shaped wire component to the jump ring at the top of the earring body.  These spacer bar components make up the top sides of the square body of the earrings.  See the peg pattern below-center.  Use pegs 1 and 6 to make this spacer bar.  Use about 2" of 18 gauge wire and follow the instructions for making a spacer bar found here.  Make two identical spacer bars, using pegs 1 and 6, for each earring (four total).

Step 14:  We also use the spacer bar component to hang the low wall bezel finding from the earring body.  This spacer bar is made with about 1 1/4" of 20 gauge wire and uses pegs 7 and 8 for the 10mm gemstone and pegs 9 and 10 for the 8mm gemstone.  Follow the same instructions you used above to make two spacer bars per earring, one using pegs 7 and 8 and another using pegs 9 and 10.
