Alternative Designs: 

The peg patterns for the small and large Square Knot wire components are shown at right.  The small peg pattern uses a 3/16" Super Peg and the larger peg pattern uses a 1/4" Super Peg. 

When making the small peg pattern, we suggest using 20 gauge wire and not 18 gauge wire.  When making the large peg pattern you could use wire as large as 16 gauge.  (Using 16 gauge wire is not recommended for a beginner.  If you are a beginner, use 18 gauge.)
