Square Jewelry Stand Jewelry Making ProjectNow we are ready to graduate to the Square Earring Stand.  Unfortunately unlike our earlier project, this stand doesn't end with lunch so it is a good idea to begin this project after lunch.

We don't have a convenient template for this stand so we will make it by using a ruler to help us be consistent.

Step 1:  Cut a 24 inch segment of 12 gauge wire.

Step 2:  Using your round nose pliers, make a loop in one end of this wire.

Step 3:  Measure 2.5 inches and grasp your wire at this point with your bent chain nose pliers (BCNP).  Bend the wire 90 degrees.

Step 4:  Measure 2.5 inches from that bend and grasp the wire at this point with your BCNP.  Bend the wire 90 degrees up.

Step 5:  Measure 4 inches up and bend the wire 90 degrees pointing in a direction parallel to the initial loop.

Step 6:  Measure 3.5 inches across and bend the wire 90 degrees down.

Step 7:  Measure 4 inches and bend the wire 90 degrees away from the initial loop but in the same plane.

Step 8:  Measure 2.5 inches and bend the wire 90 degrees toward the bend you made in step 5.
