Step 9:  Using your round nose pliers make a loop in the wire near the bend you made in step 5.  Cut the excess wire and close the final loop with your bend chain nose pliers.  Earring Stand Jewelry Making Project Step 10

Step 10:  Now we need to make four of the hangers similar to the ones made in step 12 on page 3Earring Stand Jewelry Making ProjectFirst cut four 2.5" inch wire segments out of 22 gauge wire and make wrapped loops in one end of each segment. 

Step 11.  Wrap each of these four hangers around the 3.5 inch top of the stand.

Step 12:  This step is optional; but, if you want to preserve the spacing of the hangers on the top of the stand, you can wrap additional segments of 22 gauge wire between the hangers so that they can't move.  You can see these additional segments of 22 gauge wire at the top in the picture at left.
