  We
liked the two earring stands that we made earlier until be got ready to
travel to a show. Then we learned that those stands do not travel
well. We wanted a stand that could be folded flat for travel and yet
be erected and be relatively strong and stable once we were at the show.
It took a little thought into how we would do this, but this is the design
that we developed for displaying e arrings.
Above right you can view the front view, at left you can see the side view
and at right you can see the stand folded flat in its travel position,
ready to be loaded into your suitcase.
Making this earring stand requires about 36 inches of 12 gauge wire and a WigJig Olympus. Admittedly, this stand is not as polished as a stand made commercially. It looks like what it is -- a hand made stand. Perhaps when you are displaying hand made jewelry this stand might be just the thing you need.
