Step
21: Now we need to hold the Vertical Wire Component in the upright
position that we want for displaying earrings. While holding the
Vertical component up with one hand, lean the 7" wire segment for the Hook
component against the Vertical wire component and measure where you need
to make the second loop in the Hook wire component. Please note that
the stand will be move stable if the Vertical Wire is not truly vertical,
but bent slightly toward the front of the
stand
as shown at right.
Step 22: The final loop in the Hook Wire Component needs to be an
"eye loop" that we will cut so that it is not totally closed. You
can see the finished loop at left. You can make this eye loop
using the
Step 23: The last step in making this stand is to make hooks for your stand so that you can hang post type earrings. These hooks are made using the technique discussed in step 12 - 14 on page 3 of these instructions. This completes the Traveling Earring Stand Jewelry Making Project.
