Here we show two designs for an earring stand made out of 12 gauge copper wire. These two stands are easy to make and can be an interesting way to display your finished jewelry. The design on the left we call a Campbell's Soup stand (for a reason that will be obvious when we describe how it is made). The design on the right is the Square Stand for obvious reasons. Both of these stands were made out of 24 inches of 12 gauge wire. They are very stable and plenty sturdy to display jewelry at a fixed location. We are still working on a design for a jewelry stand that will travel well. These two designs aren't great for traveling as they can get bent out of shape in your suitcase. In a later page we will show a similar stand design for bracelets or necklaces. |
