Sword Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 1:  Using your flush cutter, cut two segments of 20 gauge wire each 4 1/2 inches long.  1/2 hard wire is preferred. 

Step 2:  Using your round nose pliers, or your fine step jaw pliers, make a loop in the end of the wire the same size as the pegs on your jig. 

Step 3:  Grasp the loop in the end of the wire with one hand and using your nylon jaw pliers, pull the wire repeatedly through the jaws of the pliers to straighten the wire. 

Step 4 to Sword Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 4:  Position peg 1 and 2 in your jig as shown at left.  Place your initial loop on peg 1 and bend the wire against peg 2 until the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 3 Step 5 to Sword Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Projectwith no pressure applied. 

Step 5:  Add peg 3 to your jig and bend your wire against peg 3 as shown at right.  Push the wire until the wire rests adjacent to the empty hole for peg 4 with no pressure applied to the wire. 


Step 6 to Sword Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 6:  Add peg 4 to your jig and bend the wire against peg 4 as shown at left.  You will need to lift the wire over peg 1 slightly so that the wire will rest Step 7 to Sword Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Projectadjacent to peg 1 as shown, with no pressure applied. 

Step 7:  Now wrap the wire around peg 1 as shown at right.
