Step 13:  Now we need to begin making the loop in the wire tail that will wrap around the vertical wire segment below the initial loop.  To do this we use our round nose pliers and grasp the wire tail that we bent horizontal in step 11 near the bend, but on the horizontal side and bend the wire 180 degrees as shown at right.  Grasp relatively close to the tips of your pliers as the diameter of the bend should be slightly larger than the size of your wire.  When making this bend hold your round nose pliers oriented so that in the picture at right the tips of the pliers would be pointing down and your hand would be above the wire component.

Step 14:  At this point we need to wrap the wire tail around the vertical wire leading to the initial loop.  In order to do this while preserving the shape of the wire component, we need to grasp the vertical wire segment and the horizontal wire segment just below the wrap with our bent chain nose pliers.  The goal is to hold the vertical wire segment so that it remains on the right hand side of the wire leading to the initial loop with the wire oriented as shown at right during and after the wrap.  While holding the wire tightly in you pliers, use your fingers to wrap the wire tail around the initial wire segment about 2  to 3 times.  You may need to use a second pair of chain nose pliers to squeeze and tighten the wrap.  After wrapping the wire, cut the excess wire with your flush cutter.  To finish the wrap, again use a second pair of chain nose pliers, to squeeze and tighten the wrap.  (Wrapping wire like this is more difficult with the soft wire we are using here than it would be with 1/2 hard wire, but we are constrained to using soft wire because 1/2 hard wire would not wrap around the Super Pegs consistently.)
