| Step 11: At this point we need to wrap wire to keep
the beads in place. Cut a piece of wire about 1.5 inches long and
using your round nose pliers, make a "U" shaped bend in the middle of this
wire. Position the "U" at the point where the two wire segments
cross and wrap both end of the U in opposite directions tightly.
Wrap the wire to make two about full loops. See the picture at right
for how this should appear. |

| Step 12: Using your flush cutter cut the excess wire from both ends. With your bent chain nose pliers, squeeze each cut end flat. |

Step 13: To complete this project as an earring, open the loop on an
ear wire finding and connect it to the top of the treble clef wire
component that you just completed, then close the loop.
Make two identical earrings. In this case, both earrings should have the orientation so that the treble clef is properly oriented while being worn. This will mean that the two earrings are not mirror images of one another. |
