Step 6: Remove the wire from your jig. Using your flush cutter, with the flat side of your flush cutter toward the finished piece of wire, cut the excess wire. Using your bent chain nose pliers, close the final loop in this wire component. Please select here to view how to close a loop with bent chain nose pliers. Step 7: Now we are ready to make spacer bars that will connect between the top of the earring and the triangular wire component that you just completed. Position pegs 4 and 5 in your jig as shown below-center. Place the initial loop from one of the 1 1/2 inch segments of wire on peg 4 and wrap the wire around peg 5 as shown. Do this for both 1 1/2 inch segments of wire. Step 8: Remove the wire segments from your jig and using your flush cutter, cut the excess wire. As we described before, cut the wire with the flat side of your flush cutter toward the finished wire segment as this will leave a flush cut on the finished wire segment. Using your bent chain nose pliers, close the final loop in the wire component. At this point your wire component should appear as shown below-right. Do this for both 1 1/2 inch segments of wire.
