Step 9: Using your bent chain nose pliers, grasp the wire
immediately adjacent to peg 1. It is probably easier to grasp the
wire with the pliers in your non-dominant hand and to push the wire with
the thumb of your dominant hand. Push with your thumb close to the
pliers until you have a roughly 80 degree bend. When you have

Step 12: Now position the two loops in your wire component on your fine step jaw pliers as shown at right. Hold the step jaw pliers in your non-dominant hand. Push the two loops so that they are as close together as you can get them. In the picture at right, the out of focus wire tail is pointing out of the picture at the eye of the viewer.
