Begin by cutting and straightening a piece of 18 gauge soft wire 8 inches long.  Make a spiral either using the WigJig Spiral Maker, or as shown here.  Leave about 3-4 inches of straight wire and make a loop in the end of the wire opposite the spiral.  A wrapped loop was used in the bookmark shown at right, you could also use an eye loop.  (The technique for making a wrapped loop is shown here.)  Attach a bead dangle to the loop in the end of the wire.  In the book mark show at right a wrapped bead link was used to connect between the bead dangle and the loop in the end of the wire.

All of the skills involved in this project are beginners skills and are described in our "Beginners Start Here" section of WigJig University.  This is a good opportunity to use colored wire and to coordinate the color of the wire with the beads.
