These earrings are a relatively easy jewelry making project and yet with the right combination of beads in the bead dangles, the final result can be quite striking.  Given the current popularity of chandelier earrings, they are an excellent beginner to intermediate project.

Diamond Chandelier Earrings

Jewelry Making Supplies:

Jewelry Tools Required:
  • 10 inches of 20G wire (1/2 hard works best, but soft will also work)
  • Six 2" gold-filled head pins
  • 24 or more beads
  • One pair of ear wire findings (I used ear clips for these earrings.)

  • Round Nose Pliers

  • Flush Cutter

  • Chain Nose or Bent Chain Nose Pliers (2)

  • Any WigJig acrylic jig

  • 4 metal pegs

  • 30 minutes of free time

Jewelry Skills Required:

  • Use of a WigJig to make jewelry wire components.

  • Ability to make a bead dangle using a head-pin. 

  • Ability to make a modified figure 8 connector.
