Step 1:  Cut and straighten a piece of 20 gauge wire 5 1/2 inches long.

Step 2:  Make a wrapped loop in the top of the wire.  Use only one loop in the  wrap.  Instructions for making a wrapped loop can be found here.

Step 3:  Position 7 metal pegs in a WigJig Cyclops as shown at right.

Step 4:  Measure 3/16" down the wire from the bottom of the wrapped loop and grasp the wire at this point with your chain nose pliers.  Make a bend in the wire of about 70 degrees by pushing the wire with your finger as close as possible to the place where the wire is held in the jaws of your pliers.  Now place your initial loop on Peg 1.  Your wire should appear as shown below, left.

Step 5:  Remove the wire from the WigJig Cyclops and grasp the wire on the long wire segment as near the 70 degree bend as possible with your round nose pliers.  Bend the wire against the jaws of your round nose pliers to make a 1/2 loop.  Place the initial loop back on Peg 1 and your wire should appear as shown below, center.  What we have accomplished is to manually form the wire around peg 2.  This will allow the finished piece to be more symmetrical.  The wire segment from Peg 1 should point to the center of Peg 2 and the partial loop will direct the wire around Peg 2.

Step 6:  Bend the wire against Peg 3 as shown below, right.
