Alternative Designs Continued: Another alternative is the earrings jewelry making project shown at right. This is a five peg pattern made using the WigJig Cyclops. The peg pattern for these earrings is shown below. These earrings use a bead dangle hanging from the loop in the V shaped wire component instead of the horizontal beaded wire segment. Because of the design of these earrings, the loop for the bead dangle needs to be larger than normal. Other than this change, the process for making these earrings is the same as the one described in the basic instructions, pages 2 through 6. The beads used to make the earrings shown are 6mm Swarovski Glass Crystal Beads in the color Siam. The rounded portion of the bottom of these earrings has a smaller diameter (more rounded) than the original pattern. |
