Step 1:
Cut a piece of 20 gauge wire 2 1/2 inches long. Half hard wire
is preferred, but not required. Make
a regular loop in one end of this wire. (Fine Step Jaw Pliers
are preferred for making this initial loop.) Step 2: Straighten this wire segment. Hold on to the loop to help in straightening the wire. |

| Step 3: Add two metal pegs and two Super Pegs to your jig as shown at right. Place the loop you made in the wire segment on one of the metal pegs and wrap the wire around the pegs as shown. Please visit here for some jewelry making tips on how to hold the wire and jig while wrapping. |

Step 4: Remove the wire from the jig. It will appear as shown in picture Step 4A, at right. Now use your pliers to complete this piece by making a second loop with the wire tail. If you used Fine Step Jaw Pliers in Step 1, both the initial and final loops will be the same size. After making the loop, your wire will appear as shown in picture Step 4B. |
