Alternative Design Continued: This design uses five Flemish Spiral wire components. For beginners, we recommend that you make this necklace with five of the full size wire components using the pattern shown on the left at the bottom of page 5 and below. For intermediate wire workers we recommend making one full size and four of the smaller version of the Flemish Spiral. The necklace at right shows the combination of large and small wire components. Making the small version of the Flemish Spiral is slightly harder than making the larger version, which is why we don't recommend this for beginners.
