Step 6: By hand, flatten the wire component so that it lies flat.
For soft wire, place the flattened wire component on an anvil and gently
tap it several times with a chasing hammer. Hammer all the way
around the ear wire. If you used 1/2 hard wire, you can skip
this step, although it is still a good idea. Hammering the wire
component will cause the wire to open up to a larger diameter. When
you have finished hardening the ear wires it is a good idea to give them a
slight squeeze by hand so that they return to their original size.
You can even squeeze them around the Super Peg you use to form the shape
so that both will be exactly the same size.
Step 7: Now take a 1 1/2 inch head pin and add a 6mm bead to it. Make a bead dangle to hang from the loop in the ear wire. |

Step 8: Repeat the above process for making your second earring.
Step 9: Using your Cup Bur, file the ends of the two ear wires that you just made so that they are rounded and safe to wear. |
|
| Do step 1 through 9 over and over. These earrings are so quick to make that you will want to make several to give to your friends and family. |
