| If you are using the WigJig Cyclops or Electra to make these earrings, you may find that the metal peg is a little further from the Super Peg than has been shown for the pattern on the WigJig Delphi. This can be easily accommodated, but the design is slightly modified. First you will need to use a longer piece of wire. Use about 2 3/4 inches of wire instead of the 2 1/8 inches of wire that we used earlier. Second, when you wrap the wire around the Super Peg you will need to wrap to the point where the wire crosses itself. This will leave you about 1/2 inch of straight wire at the end. Third, when you remove the wire from the jig, you will cut off the initial loop and any straight wire. Finally, you will need to make a loop with the 1/2 inch of straight wire at the end using your round nose pliers. From this point all the instructions remain the same. In essence, this earring is made backwards. The end is made first and the initial loop from our earlier description is made last using your hand tools. |

| For many people, a longer more complex bead dangle would be better. The earrings as shown are classic in style and can be worn every day, but may not be appropriate where something with more flash is desired. These earrings will work fine with a more complex, multi-beaded bead dangle. We hope that you enjoy this design as much as we do. If you are on our Christmas list, you can expect a pair of these earrings. |
