At right, we show two views of a wire chain.  The upper view shows the chain when it is first made and before it was pulled tight.  The lower view shows the chain after it was pulled tight.  Both views are extreme close-up photographs.   The actual chain is roughly 1/2 of the size shown in these pictures.  The chain shown was made on a 3-Pin Spool Knitter.  The following section provides instructions on how to make this jewelry wire chain.  We also have additional instructions for making knitted wire chain here.

Tools Required:
  • 1 spool of 28 Gauge jewelry wire

  • Flush Cutter

  • Spool Knitter

  • 30 minutes of free time

Jewelry Making Skills Required:

  • Use of a knitter to knit wire chain
