Step 5:  Now grasp the wire with your chain nose or bent chain nose pliers on the wire segment between pegs 1 and 2 as shown at left.  Hold the wire firmly and bend the wire segment from this point to the loop formerly around peg one so that it is vertical.

Step 6:  Next grasp the wire as shown at left and bend up so that it ends up as shown below left.  The wire tail should be parallel to and close to the wire segment below the initial loop.

Step 7:  Now we need to make the support that holds the bead.  This is just a small bump in the wire so that the bead rests in the middle of the half-moon and not at the bottom.  Grasp the wire as shown at the arrows and bend 90 degrees to the left.   After bending the wire 90 degrees to the left, use your round nose pliers near the tip, grasping the wire close to the bend you just made then bend the wire 180 degrees to the right.  Reposition your pliers and bend the wire up so that it is again parallel to the wire segment below the initial loop.  Once this is done, the wire will appear as shown in step 8 on the following page.
