Step 8:  Using the same technique that you just used to make the lower bump that the beads rests on, make an upper bump.   This will hold the bead in the center of the 1/2 moon.  (If you use a 1/2 inch Super Peg you will not have enough space to make this upper bump.  Stop after making the lower bump.)

Step 9:  Now we need to wrap the wire tail around the wire segment below the initial loop.  Start by grasping the wire tail as shown at the arrows at left with your chain nose or bent chain nose pliers.  Then bend the wire 90 degrees to the left as shown below left.

Step 10:  Now grasp both the wire tail and the wire segment below the initial loop with your chain nose pliers.  Holding this wire firmly, wrap the wire tail around the wire segment below the loop approximately 3 times (until the wire is just below the loop).  The finished piece should appear as shown in Step 11 on the following page.
