How to Make Cubic Zirconia Earrings Jewelry Making Technique -- Page 1

This jewelry making technique shows three approaches for making earrings using Cubic Zirconia "Ax" style pendants.  In our WigJig Internet store, these CZ pendants that are appropriate for these three techniques are our 18mm Ax Pendants.  The 18mm Ax Pendants are shown here left and right.  You can view our selection of these types of CZ pendants here.

The three techniques that we will discuss are in the order shown above-right, making a wrapped link, making a figure 8 connector or modified figure 8 connector and using a large jump ring.  The most secure of the three approaches is the wrapped link shown near-right.  The one approach that is the easiest to accomplish is the jump ring technique shown far-right.   
 

Skills Required:

• Ability to make a loop in wire.
• Ability to cut wire with with a flush cutter.
• Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
• Ability to make a wrapped loop.
• Ability to make a jump ring
• Ability to make a figure 8 connector and a modified figure 8 connector.
